- Samsung may have launched the Galaxy S 4, but that hasn’t stopped the South Korean company from working on other phones. According to Russian website Hi-Tech, Samsung is set to launch a mid-range device called the Galaxy Core (GT-I8262) in the coming days.
According to the specifications mentioned in the report, the Dual-SIM Galaxy Core seems to sport a 4.3-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display and a 1.2-GHz dual-core processor and 768MB of RAM. The phone is also reported to feature a 5-megapixel rear camera, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card and includes connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. On the software side of things the device is said to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
- The report claims that the Galaxy Core will be launched in countries like Russia and China sometime next month and will be available for around €320 (Rs 22,500 approximately). There is currently no word though on if this device will come to India.
