The latest to join the crème de la crème brigade of decked up iPhones is the Black Diamond iPhone . It is the most expensive smartphone in the world and is periced at a whopping $15 million. A rare, flawless, deep cut black diamond has been infused as its "Home" button. This black diamond is owned by a Chinese businessman who approached renowned luxury designer Stuart Hughes and commissioned the handset. Apparently, it took nine weeks to re-create the chassis of the iPhone 5 in solid gold. The complete handset has been finished by hand. The chassis is inlaid with approximately 600 white flawless diamonds with full gold dressing on its rear side. The back has the Apple logo showing off 53 flawless diamonds. It has about 135 grams of 24ct gold and a sapphire glass set in the screen.
iPhone 4S Elite Gold
Many people still flaunt their older iPhone 4S. How about an iPhone 4S with gold, diamonds, rare stones and dinosaur bone? The iPhone 4S Elite Gold edition has it all. It can be considered as one of the most expensive smartphone at $9 million. The chest of the device is built of solid platinum with polished pieces of original dinosaur bone from the T-REX along with rare stones such as Opal ,Pietersite, Charoite, Rutile Quartz  and Star Sunstone. The handmade gold bezel adorns around 500 diamonds amounting to more than 100ct. The gold-built rear section embeds a 24ct gold Apple logo shimmering in 53 diamonds. Simply turn it over and you will see the Apple logo, encrusted in diamonds. The 64GB version of the handset is available in a limited edition of 100 units. Here also, the original chassis of the iPhone has been re-created in solid gold and finished by hand. The rear section has a full gold dressing and a logo in solid gold with 53 flawless diamonds amounting to 1ct. It has a circa of 128 g of 18ct gold.

iPhone 5 Platinum Edition
If gold isn’t your style, then the next one in our list is something to look out for. Not as expensive as the others mentioned in the list, at $4,412, you can lay your hands on the iPhone 5 Platinum Edition. Fully embellished in platinum, the device sports a superior mirror finish. Its platinum gold logo on the rear side and Home button on the front come embedded with diamonds. The Platinum edition of the iPhone 5 is available in 64GB and its unlocked version is available worldwide across all networks.
