NOW LG Optimus G with LTE TDD connectivity IN INDIA

LTE TDD allows receiving and transmitting to take place on the same frequency at different times. This is unlike the case in LTE FDD, wherein two different frequencies exist for transmitting and receiving data. LTE TDD therefore, works somewhat like home broadband, granting a narrow band for uploading, while at the same time, offering a wider one for downloading heavier content.

The South Korean manufacturer’s flagship device for India is selling in its 3G compatible form at Rs. 31,899. It features a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. This Jelly Bean-equipped handset provides the benefits of a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5GHz and 2GB of RAM. Moreover, a 13MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing snapper make their way into it as well. Also, a 2100mAh Li-Ion battery powers the device from within.
It’s not quite sure when we’ll be able to see the LTE TDD variant of the LG Optimus G landing in India, but expect full coverage from us on the matter in the near future.

An iPad smart cover could switch off your pacemaker accidentally

“iPad 2s use magnets to help secure the cover to the tablet. Since people hold tablets so close to their chest, I wanted to see if these magnets could affect cardiac device performance,” said Gianna Chien, a freshman at Lincoln High School in Stockton, Calif., who conducted the study for her science fair project.
“Since tablets are becoming more common, I hope these findings will encourage patients who have or may be a candidate for implantable defibrillators to talk to their doctor about precautions if they use a tablet like the iPad 2.”
Testing her hypothesis on 26 participants she found that 30% of the time the magnets caused the devices to stop working.
Since, she's started getting attention from medics—and soon she'll be reporting her findings to 8,000 doctors at a Heart Rhythm Society meeting in Denver.

COMPARISON OF Sony Honami camera sensor WIYH OTER PHONES

The device is said to have an 20-megapixel or 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, which points towards impressive imaging capabilities
it will have an 1/1.6-inch Exmor RS stacked sensor and will have a Sony CyberShot G lens, which is a premium grade glass lens. If one looks at the sensor size alone then we know this is a massive sensor for a smartphone. Only the Nokia PureView 808 has a larger 1/1.2-inch sensor and it barely pips the Nokia N8 in terms of sensor size which had a 1/1.83-inch sensor. Even the Samsung Galaxy camera pales in sensor size, leave alone the newly launched Galaxy S 4 and HTC One smartphones.
Sony is planning to incorporate a Xenon or a dual LED flash setup so that the images are 10 times brighter than normal smartphones. There is even word of a new Plasma Flash technology, but this does not look so feasible.
According to the report, Sony wants to have the biggest camera sensor on an Android smartphone and wants to eclipse the Nokia N8 purely in terms of technical specifications for the camera.
Sony internally estimates a thickness of 10mm which will make it much slimmer than the Nokia PureView 808 and the N8. Both these devices had a massive camera bulge on the back that added to the thickness.
  • Sony plans on adopting a glass and metal chassis for the device but ‘Carbon Fibre’ will also make an appearance.

THE NEW Hands On Fly F8s Tablet

It is capable of playing HD videoit has Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, runs on 1.2GHz dual-core processor, which is seen in many of its competitors as well, and features 1GB of RAM with 2.5GB of usable memory out of the 4GB of ROM.

It also has a microSD card slot to expand the memory to up to 32GB.s as well. The tablet can also work on 3G network, supports voice-calling, and has a single SIM slot given on it as well. However, like many of its equivalents from other players, you will either need to use headphones or loud-speaker to talk to the other person on call, as the earphone is missing on the device.Other features include FM radio, which is quite apt for the Indian audience. On the connectivity front, the device supports for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and GPRS. There are some sensors like proximity sensor, accelerometer and gravity sensor.

new Fly F45s comes with Rs 12,500,Rs 10,000

The F45s falls in the 4.5-inch category, with a qHD display offering 540X960 pixels resolution. The display was crisp and the touch interface was smooth, and in the limited time we had with the device, it worked fine without giving any trouble.
It runs on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which is supported by a dual-core processor ticking at 1.2GHz, which is also seen in its F8s tablet launched alongside. The smartphone would be standing against the likes of Lava Xolo A700 and Karbonn Titanium S1, which however has an edge with a quad-core processor
  • the F45s packs in a 12-megapixel camera with BSI sensor and auto-flash, and is capable of capturing 80 shots on burst mode. The images came out well on static mode, and were easily comparable to the results by the best of the device’s competitors in this segment and offers
1GB RAM and 4GB ROM with 2.5GB usable internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. especially for those looking for a device in the south of Rs 15,000. However if compared with other vendors, a few of which have a better set of offerings for this price, it might just lag behind in the race. The Fly F45s comes with an MRP of Rs 12,500 but can be purchased for as low as Rs 10,000.

The M4 will pack in the latest version of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, a dual-core processor with 2GB RAM and will offer relatively low storage space of 16GB and a smaller non-removable 1,700mAh battery.
This apart, one feature that is expected to remain common would be the ultrapixel technology based camera, which gathered a mixed bag of reviews for its prowess.
The M4 is also speculated to support LTE, however HTC might not bring the LTE-enabled model to Indian shores. The phone is expected to get launched in the August, but we are keeping our ears on the ground to get more information on the device soon.
