NOW LG Optimus G with LTE TDD connectivity IN INDIA

LTE TDD allows receiving and transmitting to take place on the same frequency at different times. This is unlike the case in LTE FDD, wherein two different frequencies exist for transmitting and receiving data. LTE TDD therefore, works somewhat like home broadband, granting a narrow band for uploading, while at the same time, offering a wider one for downloading heavier content.

The South Korean manufacturer’s flagship device for India is selling in its 3G compatible form at Rs. 31,899. It features a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. This Jelly Bean-equipped handset provides the benefits of a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5GHz and 2GB of RAM. Moreover, a 13MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing snapper make their way into it as well. Also, a 2100mAh Li-Ion battery powers the device from within.
It’s not quite sure when we’ll be able to see the LTE TDD variant of the LG Optimus G landing in India, but expect full coverage from us on the matter in the near future.
