The Chinese mobile vendor officially launched the 5.3-inch phablet for Rs 13,990.
The Dual-SIM Gionee GPad-G2 sports a 5.3-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor, PowerVR Series5XT GPU and 1GB of RAM.
Other features on the phablet include an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 2-megapixel camera at the front, 4GB of internal memory that can be expanded to up to 32GB using a microSD card, an in-built DTS audio system and a 3,000mAH battery. On the software front, the phablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes pre-loaded with apps like Facebook, NQ Security, Twitter and YouTube among others.
Priced at a competitive Rs 13,990, the Gionee GPad-G2 will be up against other quad-core devices like the Micromax A116 Canvas HD and the Celkon A119Q Signature HD among others.
