coming soon Sony Xperia Z Ultra to India, release date July 31

  • The Sony Xperia Z Ultra release date for India has been confirmed by e-retailer Saholic which is saying that the mammoth smartphone will start being doled out from July 31 onwards. There’s no price that we can quote however, as the shopping channel has stopped short of revealing it at the moment. Moreover, no other online retailer seems to be listing this Sony device right now.

  •  The fact that it will be landing in the country on the above mentioned date is a credible one, since we already know that it will be making its way into Hong Kong late this month as well. There, the non-LTE version will be sold at a price tag of around $799, which means that we can expect the phone to arrive here bearing an approximate MRP of Rs 47,500.Unveiled only recently, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra grabs hold of a massive 6.4-inch TFT LCD surface which features the Triluminos display technology for delivering enhanced visuals. This full HD monitor is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. An Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM have also been granted to the phone. Moreover, it bears 16GB worth of internal storage memory and a microSD card slot for further expansions of up to 64GB.An 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front one find their spots on the device as well, apart from a 3,000mAh battery, the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS and other advanced features. We’ll have more on the on the Xperia Z Ultra when added details about it come to the fore.
